The Four Precepts of the Knights of Columbus
Faith, Community, Life and Family are not just words written on some magazine or internet site, for the Knights of St. Anthony we hold these four words as our guide for planning our yearly activities.
The Knights of Columbus (KC) of St. Anthony de Padua is actively involved in Faith, Family, Community and Life. We have established or assisted in programs of the parish, and along with our Chapter, State and Supreme in order to fulfill these precepts.
Whether we provide monetary assistance or support by our attendance, or raising money through activities the KC does this to maintain our support of our set goals.
The KC constantly reviews our programs and incorporate new programs as the need arises.
Let us look closer at what St. Anthony de Padua Knights are involved in:
Faith
"Our duty is to live lives of faith...by virtue of our baptism, we have been given the highest calling and it demands that we hold nothing back in service to Christ, our King"*
Our personal faith in unity with our fellow Brother Knights, form a cadre, of like minded fraternal men to help deepen our commitment to the Church.
We participate in the following at our parish, but also reach to other programs:
- RSVP program that helps sponsors seminarians .
- Parish Community Rosary
- Devine Mercy Novena
- Devine Mercy Sunday
- Rosary for the Unborn
- Christmas Masses
- Sacramental Gifts

and the St. Anthony’s community since 1984.

raising funds, providing for children with special needs,
and working with our parish youth.
We support the Religious Education of our parish
and extending our reach by conducting community

Family
- “Our goal is for men to lead their family in service — not leave their family for service.” *
St.Anthony de Padua KC council recognizes the importance of family. Our projects, and commitments are not to take time away from family and loved ones but our goal is to enact family friendly events where all can participate.
That is why we support our:
- Religious Education Program,
- Breakfast,
- Scholastic Chess,
- Easter Egg Hunt
- Trunk or Treat event on Halloween.
- Thanksgiving support for the Needy of the parish.
- Financial support thru our KC insurance
We also focus on Higher Education Scholarships for students of our parish, these grants are open to High School seniors who wish to attend institutes of higher learning including trade schools.
